Marlon joined ASHRAE FWC as a student member and began serving as a chapter reception chair in 2020. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida. In 2019 he joined Validated Custom Solutions, a manufacturer’s rep firm specializing in custom HVAC solutions, and is currently a Sales Engineer servicing the greater Tampa Bay area. Marlon looks forward to his continued growth and involvement within the chapter.

Stephen joined ASHRAE in 2019 as a part of the Niagara Frontier Chapter and moved to the Florida West Coast in 2021.  Holding a BS degree from the University at Buffalo in  Western New York, Stephen works for Thermal Tech Inc. as a System Solutions Specialist. He offers design assistance to consulting engineers for hot water and steam boiler systems.  Stephen is excited to be a part of Region XII and looks forward to serving the FWC chapter for many years to come.

Raajesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from India & Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida. Raajesh began his career with BR+A Consulting Engineers in 2019 specializing in HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Protection system design of Healthcare, Laboratory and STEM building environments. Engineer Intern registered in State of Florida. Raajesh is looking forward to work with FWC Chapter and Region XII.

Cody graduated from the University of South Florida in 2016 where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.  As a supervisor in charge of Sales and Application Engineering, Cody works at Onicon and Air Monitor where he helps customers in both commercial and industrial sectors overcome their flow measuring challenges.  Cody looks forward to growing and contributing his expertise to ASHRAE FWC for many years to come.

Kyle joined ASHRAE in 2014 as part of the Wisconsin Chapter before moving to Florida in 2018. He has also had additional involvement with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Engineers Without Borders, and the Society of Automotive Engineers. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin, Kyle works for Carastro & Associates as a mechanical engineer and currently has more than 7 years of experience specializing in mechanical design of healthcare facilities. He has his professional engineering license through the State of Florida and is also LEED AP BD+C certified. Kyle looks forward to his growth and involvement within the FWC chapter.

Kelly Stuart Williams is the Director of Marketing and Sales for Engineered Energy Equipment. As well, she continues to be the founder/director of her company, Pegasos Public Relations.  Kelly’s volunteer work for associations includes serving as the Chairperson of Public Affairs for the National Mental Health Association in Washington, D.C.; media relations/publications volunteer for USF’s MUMA College of Business Alumni Society and Graduate Business Association.  Kelly has received multiple awards from the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) for her committee work in Membership, Community Outreach and Publicity.  With WFLA-TV and the Tampa Tribune, Kelly won three (3) national media awards for her production of a series to raise awareness of clinical depression.

Kelly is a graduate of USF’s College of Business Administration and College of Arts and Sciences, from where she received her Master of Arts in Public Relations.  Apart from her duties at the local level, Kelly also serves on the regional level as Region XII Communications Vice-Chair. She also served on the ASHRAE Summer Conference Host Committee in Tampa and as an advisor to the Region XII CRC Planning Committee for Trinidad.

Ashley joined ASHRAE FWC in 2015 as the YEA chair. After serving many positions, Ashley was the FWC president in 2022-2023. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida and is pursuing her Executive MBA from the University of Tampa. In 2023, she joined Laboratory & Biosafety Systems, a manufacturer’s rep firm specializing in flow and energy solutions servicing the state of Georgia.

Shuvam graduated from the University of Miami in 2019 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  Working towards his experience requirement for PE licensure he now works as a consulting engineer for Osborn Engineering. He has experience in a wide array of project types including healthcare (his personal favorite project type), multifamily residential, mixed-use, sports facilities, commercial, and agriculture. He looks forward to continuing his involvement with ASHRAE.

Amer Khalil, a Mechanical Design Engineer at ONICON, brings a wealth of enthusiasm to his role as the Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) Co-Chair. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida, Amer joined ASHRAE in November 2022 and quickly engaged with the organization. His journey began as an Associate member, and he now serves as the YEA Co-Chair, Embarking on his first leadership role within ASHRAE. Amer is deeply committed to the growth and vibrancy of ASHRAE’s YEA community. His goal is to attract new members, fostering an inclusive and thriving YEA community that contributes to the continued success of ASHRAE.

She has been involved in the Central Florida ASHRAE student chapter since 2018 and switched to the West Coast chapter after she graduated and began working for AEI. She is currently specializes in the mechanical design of research laboratories and healthcare facilities.

His career kicked off at Carrier in Georgia, where he diligently worked his way up the ladder. Recognizing his leadership potential and technical expertise, EMCOR entrusted him with the growth and development of the Building Automation sector in Central Florida. In this role, he successfully led diverse teams composed of Engineers, Sales Representatives, Project Managers, among others. His exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment have consistently ensured the delivery of top-quality products and services. Bud’s professional journey is a testament to his expertise in managing and scaling operations effectively. He looks forward to expanding the experience into the local ASHRAE chapter.

Matt joined ASHRAE and the FWC chapter in 2021. He got his start in Texas with Marriott International in M.E.P. Facility Operations and Maintenance, HVAC Mechanics, and Stationary Engineering. Later transitioning to Controls Systems Engineering at Johnson Controls in the Midwest/Colorado region. Now, he works as a Controls Engineer with McKinstry in Tampa, leading their Remote Operations Center. He specializes in Facility Operations, Building Automation, and MEP system diagnostics, commissioning, and optimization. Matt is passionate about looking for innovative ways to improve the built environment and creating interest to attract new hands and minds into the industry and looks forward to enhancing the world through ASHRAE.

Ian joined ASHRAE as a student member and was a scholarship recipient through ASHRAE FWC while attending University of South Florida. He obtained his BS in Mechanical Engineering while interning at Tom Barrow Company. Ian has continued working in the HVAC field in Tampa since 2015 with positions in design engineering and sales. Ian joined B&I Contractors in 2022 and has worked with the Project Management team on projects including healthcare, secondary education and commercial new construction. He is looking forward to growing within the FWC chapter in the coming years.

Currently the ASHRAE Region 12 Representative, member of the Society GAC, and the SSPC 300 Commissioning standards project committee. He has worked in ASHRAE activities for 37 years, and has served on over 50 committees, 4-councils and Ex-Com/the Board. He has authored several ASHRAE Journal articles within his expertise as well as co-authoring the ASHRAE textbook on “Fundamentals of HVAC Control Systems”, now in its 2nd edition.

Professionally, he works in the Building Commissioning and Energy Auditing industry operating a company (QST Inc.) based in Florida. He also works as the certifying engineer for Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing of HVAC&R Systems. He is certified to provide Building Commissioning, ASHRAE bEQ ratings, Energy Audits, clean room testing, enclosure analysis including air and vapor testing, TAB work, research project management as well as providing environmental solutions for IAQ problems. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He has his Professional Engineers License; his state certified Mechanical/Electrical Contractors licenses, as well as his certifications for IAQ (ACAC), Energy Management, Commissioning and Testing/Adjusting/Balancing (ASHRAE and AABC/ACG), Energy Assessor (ASHRAE and AEE), High Performance Building Design, and is a Green Building Engineer (AEE).
